Halloween

This year we went to a Halloween party at Eric's cousins house on Friday night. It was a good trial run on Chase's costume. We learned how NOT to put his costume together for the big trick or treating night. When Halloween actually arrived I spent the day working on laundry (because that is my Monday big chore), baking cookies, turning bland candy bars into something special, and revamping Chase's costume. That evening I tossed in a lasagna so I could have something that would be an easy clean up before heading out and I wanted to make enough to feed my neighbors. My neighbors get all into this day, I personally struggle with it. But between them and Eric they had they're house all done up. Tay hung out at the house and handed out candy. All in all I would say I enjoyed the night and I do believe my family did as well. I hope you enjoyed your Halloween too.

Chase - mummy; Reese - "good" (that was a very important fact to him) ninja; Taylor - old lady (she had a big butt that cracked me up)

Marina (dog) was giving her advise on how to make Chase's costume with stand the test of trick or treating

Every year I get Eric, Taylor, Chase, and Reese their favorite HUGE candy bars. This year I decided to "dress them up" too

This year we only bought one pumpkin. Everyone drew a picture of what they thought our jack-o-lantern should look like. Then I picked pieces from each one to create our end result. I choose Tay's eyes, Reese's nose, and Chase's mouth. I have to admit my decisions were made by who had the easiest ones for Daddy to cut out.
